The Federation of Muslim Organisations (FMO) is shocked, appalled and horrified by the devastating suicide bombings in Yemen that have claimed the lives of over 100 people and left many more injured.

Suleman Nagdi from the FMO said “The tyrannical and evil self styled Islamic State (IS) has claimed responsibility for the attack. This is another tragic reminder that these tyrants are pure wickedness manifested in the most extreme form. That the attack happened during Friday prayers and targeted fellow Muslims is yet another brutal example of the fact that these murderous fanatics have no scruples. We would like to reiterate our desire to see the IS stopped.”

At this most difficult time our thoughts are with the deceased and their families as well as all those affected by this heartbreaking event.
