FMO congratulates Goodwood Islamic Academy on their 2024 Beacon Mosque Awards achievement

The Federation of Muslim Organisations (FMO) proudly congratulates Goodwood Islamic Academy (Masjid Mu’adh ibn Jabal) on their remarkable accomplishment at the Beacon Mosque Awards 2024.

Securing second place in the “Best Madrassa” category at the prestigious event in Greater Manchester reflects their unwavering dedication to fostering excellence in Islamic education. The ceremony, which brought together 500 mosque leaders from across the UK, served as a platform to honor the impactful contributions of mosques and madrassahs nationwide.

This milestone highlights the tireless efforts of the academy’s exceptional Principal and teachers, who, through personalised attention and a focus on smaller class sizes, have cultivated an environment where students can flourish. The trustees’ visionary leadership has also been pivotal in realizing this shared aspiration for educational excellence.

As the trustees gracefully acknowledged, “We see this honour not as our own achievement, but as a reflection of our students’ dedication, our teachers’ tireless efforts, and the community’s support of our vision for exemplary Islamic education.”
